Christmas is such a joyous time,
celebrated throughout the world.
Many festive parties, plenty to eat,
lots of presents.
This is what most people see
what Christmas stands for.
But it is more than this,
It is a celebration of a new life and
A new way of life.
It is God's gift to the world.
Of personal sacrifice for the good of others,
of seeing children clothed and fed,
not just at Christmas but always.
A time of caring and sharing,
of giving and of letting go
of the worlds selfish ways.
If we all do just a little bit better today
than yesterday, then soon
all our days can be like Christmas
with the love and fulfillment that this brings.
